The VG6 Gamma 762 is a hybrid muzzle brake and compensator designed for .308 Winchester, 7.62×51, and 6.5 Creedmoor barrels with a 5/8-24 thread pitch. The .308 cartridge generates significantly more recoil energy than 5.56, and the Gamma 762 is dimensionally scaled to handle that additional gas volume with large-volume side ports and a top compensation chamber. It is compatible with AR-10, DPMS LR-308, and other large-frame semi-automatic platforms, as well as bolt-action rifles with a 5/8-24 threaded muzzle. The stainless steel bead-blasted version offers a distinctive finish and improved corrosion resistance compared to phosphate-coated alternatives.
