American Security Products (AMSEC USA) has a longstanding reputation for catering to high-end commercial clients, focusing on the production of safes for banks and establishments with stringent security needs. In the past decade, AMSEC has successfully ventured into the gun safe industry, particularly with the renowned BF series. This series has seamlessly integrated commercial security features into everyday gun safes. Taking this commitment to a new level, a notable achievement as it has successfully passed the rigorous UL listed RSC Level II burglary test.
Setting the AMSEC BFII6030 apart in the industry is its exceptional design, featuring a 1/2″ steel plate door, complemented by 1″ DryLight insulation. The total wall thickness is 2″, ensuring all-around security. The walls and door are filled with DryLight insulation and boast two layers of steel, providing unparalleled fire and security protection. AMSEC has further reinforced the BFII6030 with a 5/16″ inner steel liner, incorporating high-security boltwork similar to TL-rated safes. An active hard plate has been added, enhancing the safe’s resistance and making it more challenging and time-consuming to breach. It has achieved the UL RSC Level II Burglary test certification, equivalent to a TL-10 rating. This means it withstood the same tools used on TL-rated safes for a duration of 10 minutes.
A key feature of the AMSEC BFII6030 is the DryLight insulation—an advanced poured concrete insulation material situated between the steel layers of the walls and door. This innovative material eliminates the need for gypsum board, providing a dry and seamless barrier. The ETL verified fire protection lasts for 120 minutes at 1200°F, ensuring interior temperatures remain below 350°F. Additionally, the door is equipped with 2-stage dual fire seals, featuring a silicone seal on the door jamb and an expandable Palusol seal to keep smoke out.
