Introducing the American Security AMSEC NF6036, a safe that seamlessly combines quality and affordability. It steps in as the successor to the older SF series and comes with an upgraded 90-minute fire rating at 1200°F, ensuring that the interior temperature remains below 350°F in the event of a fire.
In terms of fire protection, it’s equipped with a 2-stage dual fire seal system featuring a silicone seal on the door jamb and an expandable Palusol seal on the door, effectively keeping smoke out. On the security front, the AMSEC NF6036 holds certifications as a U.L. Residential Security Container and is approved by the California DOJ, with a sturdy 1/4″ steel plate door and an 11-gauge solid steel body.
Unlocking the AMSEC NF6036 is a robust experience. It features an AMSEC ESL5 electronic lock, protected by a substantial hard plate and two relocking devices, with options for a mechanical dial lock or a doomsday redundant lock for added security. When the correct combination is entered, the door opens smoothly on commercial-grade adjustable ball-bearing hinges, offering a full 180° swing, and in case of a severe attack, the handle disengages.
The 4-way boltwork incorporates 9 active 1-1/2″ chrome-plated bolts, complemented by 5 deadbolts, resulting in a total of 14 formidable bolts. Inside, the AMSEC NF6032 features an all-velour, all-in-one interior with back-cover and firewalls, complete with 2 cover plates and 4 side shelves, offering versatile storage. The premium door organizer (PDO) maximizes storage space and ensures quick access to frequently used items like passports, handguns, and essential documents or valuables.
Adding to the convenience is the built-in internal AC power port with a removable external power cord, allowing you to charge your electronics or use a dehumidifying rod. The entire NF Series is now available in an elegant Gun Metal Grey finish with Black Chrome hardware.
