YHM Turbo T3 Details

The YHM Turbo T3 is the third generation of YHM’s Turbo line, a 5.56 NATO suppressor built around a redesigned baffle stack that cuts blowback meaningfully versus the T2. If you ran a T2 and got tired of gas in your face, this is the upgrade. The new internal geometry, paired with a heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel body and a reinforced blast baffle, runs cleaner without sacrificing the durability YHM is known for.

It ships ready to go: Phantom Q.D. muzzle brake on 1/2×28 threads, Phantom Q.D. adapter, and two suppressor wrenches in the box. The HUB 1 3/8×24 thread pattern on the back end means it works with industry-standard mount adapters if you want to swap to a different mount system later. Made in the USA, full-auto rated, lifetime warranty.

Less Blowback Than the T2

The Turbo T3’s selling point is what’s not happening at your face. YHM redesigned the internal baffle geometry between the T2 and the T3 — the baffle following the blast baffle vents forward instead of letting pressure cycle back through the action. The practical result: less gas in your eyes, smoother cycling on most ARs, and a cleaner host firearm at the end of a range day. If you’ve been running an older Turbo and felt the blowback creep, the T3 is the fix.

The YHM Turbo Family

The Turbo T3 sits at the top of YHM’s Turbo line. The Turbo K-RB is the compact variant for shorter barrels and CQB-length builds. The Fat Cat 5.56 is YHM’s larger 5.56 can with the same Phantom QD interface.
