Vaultek® LifePod XR Basic Non-Biometric Portable Safe
The Vaultek LifePod XR Basic provides spacious, configurable storage for firearms, camera equipment, electronics, medical supplies, and other valuable gear. This non-biometric model uses a straightforward keypad and backup-key entry system without requiring fingerprint enrollment.
The high-capacity interior contains a customizable pluck-foam base that can be shaped around individual items. Pre-perforated foam sections make it possible to create fitted pockets for handguns, magazines, optics, cameras, and delicate equipment, while the protective lid foam helps reduce movement during transport.
A touch-sensitive Smart Sense™ backlit keypad operates Vaultek’s built-in locking system using a personalized four- to eight-digit master code. Two manual backup keys provide an alternate entry method if electronic power is unavailable.
The case is constructed from Vaultek’s lightweight, impact-resistant TP3™ polymer. A reinforced steel interior hinge system and dual anti-impact locking latches provide added protection against drops and forceful impacts, while the included steel security cable allows the case to be anchored to a suitable stationary object.
Front compression latches press the lid against an interior rubber gasket, creating a weather-resistant, airtight, and dustproof enclosure. The LifePod XR can float with a load of up to 27 pounds and is recognized as a TSA-compliant firearm safety device when used according to applicable transportation regulations.
A single 9V alkaline battery provides electronic operation for up to one year under normal use. If the battery becomes depleted, a concealed micro-USB connection can temporarily power the keypad. The case can also be used without a battery as a protective weather-resistant enclosure.
The LifePod XR supports a range of optional modular accessories, including pistol racks, magazine racks, a lid organizer, padded divider systems, and range-storage components. These accessories are sold separately and allow the interior to be adapted as storage needs change.
