The TWS Hob Knob is the ultimate enhanced charging handle for AK platforms, engineered by Texas Weapon Systems for unmatched reliability, superior grip, and faster handling. Designed specifically to eliminate the common failures of standard and competing aftermarket charging handles, the Hob Knob features Texas Weapon Systems’ exclusive 3-bolt mounting system—guaranteed never to come loose or fall off during intense use.
Unlike inferior designs that rely on a single tiny screw (which often leads to stripped Allen keys, loosening after minimal rounds, or complete loss), the Hob Knob secures with three robust ¼-20 set screws. This beefy triple-fastener approach provides rock-solid attachment while allowing precise tilt adjustment for the perfect ergonomic angle tailored to your shooting style and rifle setup.
Crafted from lightweight 6061-T6 anodized aluminum, it adds minimal weight (just 0.6 oz) while delivering a substantial, positive feel in the hand. The meaty size, combined with axial grooves for enhanced traction, ensures confident manipulation even with gloves, wet conditions, or high-adrenaline scenarios—making racking, clearing malfunctions, and one-handed operations smoother and more reliable.
