SureFire SOCOM556-MINI2 (RC2 Mini) Details
The SOCOM556-MINI2, better known as the RC2 Mini, is the truncated version of the can that won the USSOCOM suppressor trials. SureFire cut the full-size SOCOM556-RC2 down to 5 inches and 15 ounces, kept the Inconel and stainless steel internals, and tuned it for 5.56 hosts with 14.5-inch and longer barrels. If you want SOCOM-grade suppression without hanging a full-length tube off your carbine, this is the one.
Features & Benefits
- Fast-Attach mounting locks over SureFire flash hiders, muzzle brakes, and WARCOMPs in seconds, no tools needed
- Internal gas venting cuts back pressure, cyclic rate, and blowback for a cleaner-shooting gun
- Recessed end cap trims flash with minimal, repeatable point-of-impact shift
- Laser-welded Inconel and stainless construction, full-auto rated, finished in High-Temp Cerakote (Black or Dark Earth)
- Adds roughly 2.5 inches to your barrel, so a 14.5-inch middy stays handy
Want the newer generation? See the SOCOM556-MINI4 (RC4 Mini). Chasing maximum sound reduction instead, the full-size SOCOM556-RC2 runs eleven baffles to the Mini’s six. Compare more options on our 5.56 suppressors page.
