The Strategic Sciences MFMD 5.56 | 0″ OTB is a direct-thread muzzle device and suppressor-ready platform designed for compatibility with 5.56 rifles featuring 1/2×28 barrel threads. Engineered for a flush-mount setup, this system requires 0.0″ over-the-barrel (OTB) clearance, making it suitable for configurations where minimal space exists between the barrel shoulder and the first obstruction. Installation is completed using the included shims and tool, with no additional adapters required.
This model is offered in multiple configurations, including muzzle device (MD) only or combination options (MD+SD, MD+SDX, MD+SD+SDX), along with color choices in Black or Flat Dark Earth (FDE). The MFMD system is designed for compact integration on 5.56 platforms with strict clearance requirements. All applicable NFA rules and regulations apply where relevant.
