Noveske Super Badass AR-15 Charging Handle in Black
The Noveske Super Badass 5.56 AR-15 Charging Handle is a fully ambidextrous charging handle with a sleek, ergonomic design that’s easy to operate from either side of the weapon. The dual-contoured levers give a comfortable grip, and the checkered surface provides a textured grip that works well with gloves. The heightened rear lip helps mitigate gas blowback to the shooter, making it a strong choice for short-barreled and suppressed setups, while specifically angled gas ports help reduce felt recoil. All parts are Type 3 Hardcoat anodized for a durable, long-lasting finish. It’s a drop-in upgrade for any standard mil-spec AR-15 Platform such as .223, 5.56, 300 Blackout, 7.62x39mm, and 9mm builds.

The AR-15 charging handle is the control used to manually cycle the bolt carrier group rearward to chamber the first round, clear a malfunction, or lock the bolt to the rear for inspection or administrative handling. It rides in a machined channel in the upper receiver and is accessed from the rear of the upper receiver. The standard mil-spec charging handle uses a small, right-side-only latch that can be difficult to actuate quickly under stress, particularly when wearing gloves or shooting from unconventional positions. The Noveske Super Badass solves this with true ambidextrous latches on both sides plus an extended, oversized surface area, giving either hand a fast, positive pull. It installs as a direct drop-in replacement in any standard mil-spec AR-15 upper receiver — no modification to the upper receiver, bolt carrier group, or other components is required. Installation involves removing the existing charging handle and bolt carrier group and reinstalling with the new handle, a basic field-level task requiring no special tools. The extended latch surface gives the support hand a larger area to grasp for a faster and more positive pull, reducing the chance of a fumbled or incomplete charge during rapid manipulation or malfunction clearance drills.
