Microtech LUDT, L.U.D.T., S/E, Auto Knife, Push Button Automatic, Black, 3.5 Inch, Drop Point, Serrated, M390MK, Large, Underwater Demolition Team, Made in the USA, 1135-11AP
The Gen III Microtech LUDT (Large Underwater Demolition Team) is a modern version of Microtech’s original UDT knife. The UDT was designed with a powerful automatic action that could deploy the blade underwater. The first version of the knife was made over twenty years ago, and there have been numerous small changes and improvements since then. The Gen III LUDT has several subtle but significant differences from its most recent predecessor, including minor styling changes, the addition of inlays, the use of standard Torx screws, and most notably, an ultra-smooth, ultra-solid silica carbide ball bearing pivot. This LUDT is the first Microtech automatic knife to feature Microtech’s proprietary Bohler M390MK super steel, which provides improved edge retention compared to conventional M390. If you need a reliable pocket knife with excellent edge retention and dependable deployment, this latest LUDT is sure to meet your needs.
