Order the Magpul MOE SL-K on its own and you get the stock by itself — no buffer tube, no buffer, no hardware to mount it. This combo takes care of that. We’ve paired the genuine Magpul MOE SL-K Slim Line Kurz Mil-Spec stock with a complete carbine buffer tube assembly, so everything you need to finish an AR-15 lower ships together instead of in separate orders.
The SL-K is the short (“Kurz”) version of Magpul’s slim-line SL stock, built for AR pistol builds, SBR configurations, CQB setups, or shooters who find a standard carbine stock too long even at its shortest position.
It keeps the slim profile and an enhanced cheek weld for a more upright head position, runs a unique ambidextrous release latch that minimizes rattle without extra parts, and weighs just 7.9 oz. A 1.25″ footman’s loop accepts an optional M-LOK QD sling mount.
The included buffer tube assembly covers the recoil system: a 6-position mil-spec receiver extension, a carbine buffer, the action (recoil) spring, a castle nut, and an end plate.
